Email Forwarding

Comcast
1. Go to the website Comcast.net. You will need to have an email account through Comcast to be able to receive forwarded mail. You will receive them in a separate inbox you have set up; the original address will still be shown. This is a useful tool until you are able to change over to the other address permanently.
2. Click on the "My Account" link on the top left-hand side of the page. Doing so will bring you to the sign-in page. Enter your username and password. Check the box if you want the site to remember this information. Click "Sign In"; this will log you in and take you to your account page.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. On the left-hand side, you will find "Email Preferences." Left-click on "Email Forwarding," which is the second preference listed. If you are changing from another email account to Comcast, there is an easy link for you to use.
4. Read the information shown about email forwarding. You will receive some options to select, a display of the name you are signed in under, and a prompt asking if you want to enable mail forwarding. You will then be asked if you want to keep a local copy. After entering this information, you will need to provide the new forwarding address. Then click "Update."
5. If you change your mind and decide you do not want to keep the forwarding address anymore, you can go back into your account, click on the email-forwarding option and change everything you previously did. If you have more than one account through Comcast, you can use email forwarding on all of them.

Verizon

1. Access the email account you want to link with your Verizon email using a POP setup.
2. Go into your "Settings" or "Advanced Options" menu, or whatever equivalent your secondary email address provides.
3. Select the email forwarding option, or its equivalent. Click through to bring up the fields in which you will enter your Verizon email account information.
4. Add your Verizon email address, in its complete "name@provider.com" format in the field which asks for the email address from which you wish to forward messages. You will also need to know the name of the incoming and outgoing Verizon servers, which you can attain from Verizon customer service, if they aren't included with the Verizon CD-ROM you received when you signed up for Verizon Internet service.
5. Enable the POP function by checking the box provided. Some email clients give you the option to choose from POP or IMAP. Generally, you will only need to activate the POP option.
6. Send yourself an email, to the secondary account you want to link to your Verizon email account. Check that email address to verify that the message was delivered to your inbox, then proceed to log in to your Verizon email to check and see if the message is there. It should be, if you completed the preceding steps correctly.
7. Repeat this process to set up every other email account you hold, if you want to enable message forwarding from all your email accounts to your Verizon inbox. The exact steps will differ with each different email provider, so anticipate the need to interpret the different menu options to find the ones you seek. If you get lost, access your email provider's help menu to find out where the POP functions are located.
